Floral designing is much more a passion than a profession and a calling rather than a career.  We LOVE what we do and find the process of flower designing to be absolutely intoxicating.  From idea inception to full scale setups the day of the event, we ensure our process is stress-free and that you love every single moment of the planning and designing process as much as we do!

Brittany

A San Diego native, Brittany attended Boulder for college and spent much of her life as a competitive volleyball player. Her love affair with flowers began with an internship she got through her friends sister while home for summer break. After her internship, she fell in love and ultimately knew it was going to be her career. She is often found hiking Torrey Pines or running outside and loves being active. After apprenticing for the best in the industry for years, Brittany developed her own unique style with her hand on the pulse of current trends, she is known for creating timeless, sophisticated florals with a modern twist and is well versed in all of the ins and outs of the floral & event design industry. Brittany is now well known in her own right in the world of flowers.

Alex

With over a decade of experience in the ultra luxury floral and event design market as the owner and founder of Blush Botanicals, Alex has built a stellar reputation over the years as a top florist and event designer in Southern California. Not afraid of heights or getting her hands dirty, Alex is often found atop a tall ladder designing custom installations. Alex enjoys sketching, painting, woodwork, interior design, calligraphy and all aspects of art. Alex spent much of her life as a competitive horseback rider and jumper, riding a horse before the time she could walk. As a USC alumnus and finance major, Alex left a promising career at Merrill Lynch to pursue her love of floral and event design and opened Blush Botanicals in 2009. She currently lives in Cardiff by the Sea with her husband and Great Dane, Parker (the muse of Parker and Posies).
